The 56th International IATEFL Annual Conference
Harrogate, 18-21 April, 2023
Ben and Michelle attended the IATEFL conference in Harrogate and presented a talk on the last day. It was well attended by many fellow BE professionals and we explored the question of what it takes to be a BE trainer.
We shared our views on what it takes to become a business English trainer and were keen to hear from the audience what they thought. There were plenty of experienced trainers with a treasure trove of examples to offer which were invaluable for those in the audience with little or no experience of BE. One attendee commented at the end how he'd found the discussions and our presentation the most valuable of all the conference sessions he'd attended.
