About Distance Cert
Distance Cert was founded in 2022 by Ben Dobbs and Dr. Michelle Hunter with the intention to provide a new self-directed distance learning approach for the English UK Certificate in International Business English Training (Cert IBET). Since then, the company has started offering wide-ranging courses for English language teaching professionals.
Our organisation's mission is to make CPD effective, impactful and accessible to all English language teachers and trainers. This is informed and supported by our ten organisational values:

All of our courses and programmes are self-directed and studied at the candidate's own pace - there is no travel required, no threat of course cancellation and no additional costs. All of our courses come with the support and feedback of a learning mentor.
